What to wear to a Hatha Yoga Class?
Please wear comfortable 'stretchy exercise' clothes -wear layers that you can take off/put on as your temperature dictates. We practice in bare feet. You will be more comfortable with a reasonably 'empty' stomach.
What to bring to a Hatha Yoga Class?
Please bring a yoga mat (exercise mat) and blanket. In time you can invest in a block, belt. A limited amount of spare kit will be available.
How 'good' do I need to be?
Everyone works at their own physical capability. You will not be judged. You will be encouraged to move, strengthen and breathe. You will learn new skills that will benefit you. The tutor will make you aware of the areas of the body that are involved in the movement and modifications that could be adapted, safely, to work towards accomplishing the movement/asana. Ultimately, you are responsible for your own experience/practice.
Is it for Me?
Only you can decide. We are all different. Why not come along and try it out for yourself. You just never know ...
